News from the Paddock

BY: Yolanda Sing, 6 November 2009

Dear Friends

Welcome to our second newsletter.
It has been an interesting year for Chloe Consultants with the highlights being the first equine program presented at Maclear! It was a wonderful experience and I know that it is the beginning of many more to come.

2009 has surely been a year of unexpected change and unplanned events worldwide. Whilst recently contemplating the changing world in which we live, I was wondering what lessons I could learn, from observing the herd dynamic of my horses, and tuning in to what lessons were given to me at the time.

The way in which they use their energy is profound! Instead of running away from the rain, they will quietly stand in the rain; enjoy the moment, as if they know the spiritual truth that no storm will last forever.

It prompted me to think about the way in which I use my energy, and how small things can absorb my focus, instead of using my energy wisely, by focusing on the things that really matter. Aren’t we all guilty of that, and with a world economy that, at the moment, stimulates scarcity-thinking, instead of abundance, it is even easier to get hooked and focus on the wrong things.

So, as we move towards the end of 2009, maybe it is a good time to start reflecting on the way in which we used our energy and how we intend to use it in 2010. Let’s learn from the horses, by enjoying the rain, because we know the sun will shine again.

Stay blessed.
